The Crowndom of Sands is an independent author project run by Mohamed L. Masry. This site, and the associated social media management tools used to run its Instagram and TikTok accounts, are personal tools for one author managing his own creative work — not a commercial platform, and not a service offered to other users. This policy explains what information is collected, why, and how it's handled.
When Mohamed connects his own TikTok and Instagram accounts to his content-management tools, the following is accessed, strictly to manage and analyze his own posts:
This site itself — the pages you're reading now — does not use tracking cookies, does not run advertising networks, and does not collect personal information from visitors beyond what's needed for the contact and reader-community forms described below.
If you submit a form on this site (for example, the First Readers signup, the Hidden Notes discussion form, or the Zagel mailing list), we collect only what you provide: typically your name, email address, and message. This is used solely to respond to you, to send the Zagel if you've asked to receive one, or to include your submitted notes in a private author process. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising.
Account data accessed through TikTok or Instagram's own APIs is used to display and manage Mohamed's posts and analytics within his content tools, and is not stored beyond what's needed for that purpose. Reader form submissions are delivered by email and are not held in any public or third-party database.
No data collected through this site or its associated social tools is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
You can request that any data associated with you (form submissions, saved messages, or any information tied to your account) be deleted at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will confirm and complete deletion requests promptly.
TikTok and Instagram's own privacy policies govern how those platforms handle your data when you interact with our accounts there (following, commenting, liking, etc.). This policy only covers what Mohamed's own tools and this website do with data.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a revised date at the top of the page.
