Dar Samasar

The Samasars trace their ancestry to Nordan Ben Sham, also called Samasar, eldest son of Sham Ben Anin Ben Lawom. Anin was the lone survivor of the Great Sandstorm, known as the Sand Flood.

From this line came Mehir the Unifier, who cast down the tyrant Nemiro, recovered the lost crown of Ollan, and forged the Crowndom of Sands, founding the reckoning of time as the first Sunround AU (After Unification). From Shama on the Leften Coast, the Samasars ruled the Descent, their fortress Shamandar rising white against the Medial Sea.

Loyal Unitarians guided by the Criterion, they are famed for their piety and soldiery. Nearly destroyed in the massacres of Qehar the Desecrator of Dar Fa₭ier, their survival was secured by Samy Samasar, a boy survivor who rebuilt their strength through the Bloodbounds and Oathbounds. Today, Samy's grandson Ħafez Samasar rules as Wally of the Descent, while his son Ħamy is counted as the finest swordsman of this age.
